Divers' Hut Experience Facility Satomi-an
#Ise-Shima(Shima City)
Satomi-an, a women diver's hut experience facility
A diver's hut is a hut where divers rest after a hard day's fishing and where they warm themselves by building a fire. Divers also use the huts to prepare and change their clothes for fishing. In the center of the hut is a sunken hearth where the divers put wood to keep warm and enjoy eating and chatting in between the morning and afternoon fishing sessions. The Satomi hermit hut experience is a replica of the original hermit hut, where you can have a meal while listening to the stories of the divers and the sea from current and retired divers. It is open for lunch and dinner, and you can enjoy fresh seafood caught in the sea of Ise-Shima while listening to the precious stories of the divers. The food is grilled over charcoal, which makes it even more delicious when combined with the atmosphere of the hut.
